Random errors and glitches are irrefutable among mobile applications and even the sturdiest apps have no exemption. Restart your phone to refresh the phone system and internal memory. Then try launching the Messenger app again and see if it is already loading properly and stops crashing. This won’t affect any data stored on the app and internal memory of the phone, so you won’t lose any information in the process.

Second solution: Clear app cache and data on your Galaxy A6 2018 smartphone.

Applications store files as you use them. These files are stored as cache on the app’s memory and will be used for reference later. So the next time you’ll need to use the same file like image or other data on that app, they don’t have to be downloaded again. However, cached files can also become ruined or corrupted at some point and when this happens, adverse symptoms are likely to emerge. This is when clearing cache is necessary. Clearing an app’s cached files not only clears application errors but also frees up space of the phone’s internal memory. Here’s how to do so:

  1. Go to Settings.
  2. Proceed to Applications.
  3. Select Application Manager.
  4. Tap the All tab.

If clearing an app’s cache doesn’t help, then this is when you’d consider clearing an app’s data or resetting the app. This wipes not only cached files but also the settings and any information that go along with that application. Temporary data stored in the app’s storage including your login details will then be erased. This means the need for you to sign back into your Facebook-Messenger account to use the app again.

Third solution: Install pending app updates.

If you haven’t configured your device to install updates automatically, then it’s possible that some of your apps aren’t up-to-date. Updates are necessary to keep apps free from bugs and at their best possible performance. To check for pending updates particularly for Messenger, simply follow these steps:

  1. If necessary, connect your phone to the Internet via Wi-Fi or cellular data.
  2. Open the Play Store app.

Hi,
updated software

Facebook requires the latest version of Safari which is 5.0.4. Make certain your software is up to date just in case.
From your Safari menu bar click Safari / About Safari. If the version number is not 5.0.4, click your Apple menu (top left in the menu bar) then click Software Update.
If you have 5.0.4 installed, from the menu bar click Safari / Preferences - then select the Extensions tab. If you have any installed, turn that off, then restart Safari, try Facebook.
And again in Safari / Preferences select the Security tab. Make sure the box next to: Java is selected. Then click: Show Cookies. Delete all Facebook cookies. Restart Safari, try Facebook.
